Toshiba unveils NB500 Dual-Core Netbook

As industry experts are foreseeing the extinction of netbooks because of iPads, Toshiba has happily announced its latest netbook in the market; the NB500. The Toshiba NB500 is a dual-core netbook that is designed in a stylish case.
The NB500 netbook from Toshiba was shown off at the IT Month 2010 event, which also witnessed another Toshiba netbook launch, the NB520. The Toshiba NB500 is a netbook that comes with an interesting line of features for the average netbook user. It features several connectivity ports including 3x USB 2.0 ports, VGA, headphone and mic jacks, and card reader Ethernet port.
The Toshiba NB500 netbook comes with a 10.1-inch LCD and is powered by an Intel Atom N550 dual-core CPU. It is equipped with a 1GB of DDR3 RAM and a 250GB hard drive. It features a 0.3MP webcam. It also features Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and optional 3G. The Toshiba NB500 netbook will be released early next year for $450.
