Bad news for Toshiba; the most awaited tablet has been pulled out from the stores in UK. Dixon’s Retail, which is a UK-based consumer electronic vendor, has not denied that the Toshiba Folio 100 tablet is in trouble over there. Apparently due to the high return rates of the Toshiba tablet, it has been decided that it will be pulled out until this matter is resolved.
The Toshiba Folio 100 tablet has already been made available since earlier this month. Dixon’s Retail happens to own several stores including PC World. As of now, it has been confirmed that the Toshiba Folio 100 tablet has been pulled out of the official site of PC World.
Speaking n behalf of Dixon’s Retail, a spokesman says, “We have taken the Toshiba Folio off sale temporarily as we have had a high level of returns and we do not want to give our customers a bad experience of what is actually a very good product,” he continues by saying, “We are working with Toshiba to identify what the issue is and hope to have a resolution very soon.” Surely, this must sound reassuring for those who have been really excited about this device and at the same time, Toshiba can’t deny that it’s a bit of a disappointment as well.
