MSI Wind U160 out now

We first heard about the Wind U160 a month ago when MSI announced that this netbook of theirs will be the only second one that will feature the Pine Trail platform. Now MSI announced the availability of this netbook in the market.

With this netbook, MSI opted for a different look by including an illuminated MSI logo on the outside and moving the power button to the cylindrical hinge. This model is said to be the thinnest of all the MSI Wind netbooks.

The main attraction of this netbook is that it comes with a 15-hour battery life. This due to the fact that this MSI netbook is an Energy Star compliant netbook that features MSI’s ECO mode. This explains how the Wind U160 can have a 15-hour battery life. The U160 works on Windows 7 so we can expect a smooth ride on the system. As you already know, the U160 is powered by the Intel Atom N450 processor. The MSI Wind U160 will be available in sparkling gold and black colors at the price of $379.99.
