Available at the price of $799, this tablet computer from HP is one of the most awaited devices this year, most notably due to Apple’s iPad. Experts were wondering whether this deice from HP can heavily compete with the iPad. We don’t know about that, but let’s check out it has to offer.

HP’s Slate 500 Tablet PC is finally out now in stores. This new tablet PC comes with an 8.9-inch screen with multi touch feature. It also has a finger control option. It is said that HP provides users with a digital pen to use with the Slate 500 tablet. It features two cameras; a VGA camera and a 3-megapixel camera.

The HP Slate 500 Tablet PC is powered by a 1.86GHz Z540 processor. It comes with a 64GB hard drive and is equipped with crystal HD enhanced video chip. Not forgetting, it works on a GMA 500 GPU. The device comes with several connectivity features such as a USB port, a HDMI port, an SD card reader, Wi-Fi connectivity and an audio in/out jack.
