Cherrypal Android-based netbook shipping soon

After a long wait and rumors swirling around, Cherrypal has finally decided to launch their Android-based netbook. If you never heard of this brand, we don’t blame you. As a matter of fact, Cherrypal doesn’t look for a reason to stay in the news, they only do so when they have something to announce. The company basically makes ultra-low-end computers for the developing world market. They have a pretty reasonable price, if you ask us. OF course, with a low price you can’t expect the device to have everything. Sacrifices need to be made, y’all.

The new Asia Android-based netbook version works on a 533MHz ARM A9 processor and comes with a 256MB of RAM with 2GB of storage. The small netbook includes 3 USB slots. It comes with a 7-inch screen and works on Android. This one is said to be about $ 100. There’s another version with a 10-inch display and a webcam that will cost about $150. As usual, no official word from Cherrypal yet.
