This coming 1st of June, the Computex 2010 in Taipei organized by Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) will be witnessing ASUS as the first company to be offering Google’s Chrome Operating System either on a netbook, smartbook or even tablet personal computer. The Chrome operating system which was supposed to be released by Google this year at last will be a reality at the Computex 2010 because this operating system is an evolution work that has been developed based on the Chrome browser.

It is designed to imbue web base applications adopting a full functionality of desktop base applications and also aiming at the growth of the netbook market, plus also cloud computing (Internet-based computing, whereby shared resources, software and information are provided to computers and other devices on-demand, like the electricity grid). The Chrome OS also relies heavily on “panels,” pop-up windows housing web-based applications that are similar to multiple open windows in a browser.
