Sneak Peek at the Samsung N210
Mar 31, 2010 Netbooks

One thing is undeniable about this Samsung netbook, it’s one of the most attractive netbooks around. It has a nice white top with even nicer chrome accents. Another attraction would be its comfortable keyboard. As we have mentioned before, to have a really good keyboard in a netbook is hard, so to find netbooks that feature comfortable keyboards is a plus.
A special feature that we like is the instant-on capability whereby it allows its users to get online without Windows starting up. Opening the device, we find the 10.1-inch matte display and on top of it is the webcam. Not forgetting the 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and microphone. The sound is good but the video is not surprisingly that good.
The netbook works on a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 processor and runs on the Windows 7 Starter Edition OS. It comes with a 1GB of RAM and a 250GB hard drive. If you fancy this netbook then you can purchase it while it’s on sale at Best Buy right now at the price of $379.

Mar 30, 2010 Netbooks

Today on this rainy morning ,we have in front of us the new netbook from Acer which is the Aspire One AOD150-1669. Acer has always strongly kept in mind the features and budget while manufacturing a device. We have realized that Acer’s laptops are some of the cheapest ones that you can find but with that in mind, if they are cheap then the features are not that great to speak about. Nevertheless, they can still work well.
With the Aspire One AOD150-1669 netbook, the main attraction would be its 6.5 Hour Battery Life that this device can achieve. Keep in mind that when using netbooks, the battery life that comes with them are not usually that sustainable so this one here is the main attraction. It comes with a 10.1-inch screen and works on the 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 Processor. It also features Windows XP Home with SP3 and comes with 160GB Hard Drive, 1GB RAM and Integrated 802.11b/g Wi-Fi Certified. This is a nice and simple netbook for simple use or when on the move. New Apple Product in the Making?
Mar 29, 2010 Netbooks

We all know that the Apple iPad is launching this weekend in the US and in the UK next month and before its launch, rumors are going around of the next Apple product. What will it be, we all asked. Apparently, the next venture for Apple would be a mobile advertising platform that sources are claiming will be named the ‘iAd’. Further reports suggest that Apple will unveil this new marketing venture next month. Well, who knows, maybe someone is playing an early April Fool joke on us.
Nevertheless, the news has been confirmed by Media Post which is an online source for media, marketing and advertising news. According to the sources over at Media Post, “The new ad platform, which will be officially unveiled to Madison Avenue on 7 April, has been described as ‘revolutionary’ and ‘our next big thing’ by Apple chief Steve Jobs, according to executives familiar with the plan.” They go on further to reveal that this project forms part of Quattro which is a mobile advertising developer purchased by Apple for about $300 millions in January this year.
LG unveils the X120, X200, X300 netbooks
Mar 26, 2010 Netbooks

We wouldn’t exactly call it unveiling as not all of these netbooks are being shown off for the first time here at the CTIA show. Yes, we are at the CTIA event in Vegas where LG is busy showing us their netbooks notably the X120, X200, X300 models. As you probably already know, the X120 is currently selling in stores now and we heard that it’s on sale at Radio Shack at the price of $100 price with a two-year AT&T mobile data contract for its built-in 3G modem. This netbook is light at 2.8 pounds and it has a nice comfortable keyboard.
The X200 weighs about 2.6lbs and has a hinge design. It features a nice 10.1-inch screen with 1366×768 resolutions and an even nicer keyboard ala chiclet keyboard. It is said that this netbook will be available to consumers the same way as the X120 netbook.
The X300 is a bit different from these two netbooks. For starters, it won’t be available through a carrier subsidy as there’s no 3G radio. Secondly, it features a bigger 11.6 inches screen. Not forgetting a 2GHz Atom and 64GB SSD that are both included which will make the device run faster and better. These three netbooks sound very tempting but LG hasn’t yet released the price and date for the ones that aren’t out yet.
First Look at the Asus Eee PC 1005PEB
Mar 22, 2010 Netbooks

Today we’ll have a look at Asus’ new device, the Eee PC 1005PEB. We all know about Asus’ reputation in the netbook’s market and with this netbook, Asus continues to step to the next level in the netbook’s market.
On first sight of this device, we have to say it has an attractive and sturdy look. Though, we do know that looking nice on the outside doesn’t mean that all’s well on the inside. Well, rest assured as on the inside too this netbook performs well. It works on 1.6GHz Intel Atom N450 processor, has a 1GB of RAM and 250GB of hard drive. Basically, this Asus netbook does well on Windows Vista Starter OS. We do think that the Asus Eee PC 1005PEB is expensive at the price of $329.
Even CNET quoted that this device from Asus has a “smart design,” a “reasonable price,” and an “excellent battery life.” They also summarized the whole device by stating: “You could find similar systems for less; the sheer volume of different Eee PC models can be confusing.”
Fusion Garage’s JooJoo tablet late in delivering
Mar 22, 2010 Netbooks

For those who have already purchased the JooJoo tablet and paid for it are upset that the brand hasn’t yet send out the device to them. Some of them are busy asking for refunds as they claim that they were cheated on this purchase. Fushion Garage seems to be delaying in sending the product for more than a month now.
The JooJoo tablet, manufactured by Fusion Garage, comes with a 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor, 4GB of internal storage memory. It also features Wi-Fi for networking. The Fushion Garage JooJoo tablet is priced at $499. According the manufacturer of this device, the problem is only related to PayPal not them and PayPal, on the other hand, refuses to refund anyone their money. Fushion Garage wants the complaining customers to give them their direct information to which the customers involved refuse to give in.
Needless to say that the only thing these complaining customers can do is wait. The wait won’t be long as supposedly the makers of this tablet have announced that they will release the device on the March 25th.

The Fujitsu MH380 is a pink netbook that naturally looks made for those who would die for pink (the color, not the singer).

The Asus Eee PC1201n is a netbook that looks a bit like a thinner and lighter version of a laptop. It features a 12-inch display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. Not forgetting the 1.6GHz Intel Atom 330 processor.
The main attraction of this netbook, we would say that’s the keyboard. It’s very hard to find a nice and easy to use keyboard on a netbook.
